Installing GFCI receptacle on the deck

Hi there,

I am wondering what are needed to install GFCI receptacle on the end of the deck. Following are the material list I have on top of my head.

1. 14/2 Gray Solid CU UF-B W/G Wire.
2. GFCI receptacle

My questions are:
1. How do I fasten the wire to the joist? Do I have to bury the wire into ground or use conduit to hang the wire to the joist? What is the recommended fastener to attach the conduit to the joist?
2. Can I use one GFCI to protect two receptacles? From the description, it seems that I could wire out from the GFCI and connect to 2nd pair of receptacle, which would be protected.

Thanks,
