Puddling End of Laneway...

I know March is only a week away and the Weather has been Up & Down.. I have some serious Puddling at the end of our Laneway that will have to be addressed come Spring Thaw.. The Project will be to Drain off the Water (Rain & Snow Melt).. Doesn't help that my Neighbor filled in the Ditch in front of his house by the road running a culvert along his front.. The Ditches are 6' / 8' Deep .. He did this end of the summer 2021 so now it appears the water has no where to go .. Looking for Ideas & Suggestions like sloping the laneway away with weeping tile to drain into the ditch in front of my property ??

Your asking us how to fix something and all you've really told us is there is a puddle. So, here's my wisdom. Water flows downhill. Divert it or give it somewhere to drain.

I do not want to start trouble but if your neighbor caused the problem then it is up to them to fix it.

Messing with the natural flow of water is a big no-no where I live.

Same here, it's illegal to do something to your property that sends water to a neighbor's property. Wouldn't hurt to get a county official out there and ask them what can be done. They will either fix it for you or let you know it's all on you. Doesn't cost anything to ask.
