What to do with french drain when extending patio

I am extending patio on side yard and there is currently a french drain. I considered running pvc under slab and connecting to pvc however I believe it needs to be buried 24 in and that's much deeper than french drain. I appreciate any suggestions.

There should be no code requirement for burial depth of landscape pipes and drainage.

I am confused by the pool pump picture. Is that the area the drain is protecting?

I would remove the black corrugated pipe. Then I would run sch 40 or 80 solid pipe through the patio area. On either end you can attach thin wall perforated or smooth PVC as needed.

If your patio is concrete and the pipe is buried under compacted soil you should be OK to pour concrete right over the top. If the pipe will be exposed where you pour concrete you need to securely anchor it in place so it doesn't float up when the concrete is wet. I've used sections of rebar hammered into the ground at an angle trapping the pipe underneath.
