Treated lumber AC2 vs CCA

Our local Menards now sells two types of treated lumber one is CCA and the other is a new product; AC2 that costs about 25% more. What is the difference, and is paying the extra for AC2 worth it?

pbj1,
Copied direct from the Menard's website:
"AC2 is a safe non-arsenic treated alternative to the typical CCA treated lumber.

Menards is the first home improvement retailer to announce the in-stock availability of AC2 treated wood.

Though CCA treated lumber will continue to be available for the next several years, Menards will gradually replace CCA lumber with AC2 treated lumber."

If you have young children that would be playing on your deck, the ac2 might be worth the difference. You'll have to determine which way to go.
