paint pressure treated wood??
The supports of my porch/deck are P-T
can I paint them? do they need a primer?
what kind of primer? how many coats?
and is it crazy to think of painting them??

Most pressure-treated wood is "air-dried" instead of kiln-dried after treatment (stamped KDAT, if it is).
This means that it needs to dry out for several months in the sun and open air before painting or staining.
If it has, you can prime-and-paint or stain it like any other wood.
Just use a good quality primer and paint, or stain, if you prefer.
Good Luck!
