flooring???

ok, i'm trying to decide what to do. here is a layout of the house...

http://home.attbi.com/~mitcheal/house.bmp

we'd like ot keep the parquet floors, but does it have to match the hallway? we can't find parquet to match the existing. does the hallway and den have to match the foyer? if we tile the den, does it have to be the same tile as the foyer? i'd like to have it look decent, but i'm not sure what will look ok. the living room and dining room are carpet, and will most likely stay that way.

thanks,
mitch.

Flooring

Hi Mitcheal

For some reason, the web address doesn't work. It is easy to answer if we could see the pictures.

Best

Of course, was what I did.

Thank you

Now it is working fine!!

I agree with your idea, if the parquet is OK, you could maintain it.

Perhaps the hallway's carpet could be a problem, if it is not OK.

I don't know if the floors "have to" match, sometimes they could be different, but they live in harmony. It depends of colors, textures and the space you'd like to create

Good luck!
