painting

Our home has hollow core doors. We have recently redone our bedroom and it looks great. I painted the doors and they look okay but I want to do something interesting. Our home has Sante Fe colors and many Southwestern features. I looking for some ways of creating interesting effects in this situation.

Thanks

picture mouldings

if you've got just plain, flat hollow core doors, you can apply trim mouldings in various rectangular shapes to the door to give the appearance of a paneled door, which would be more in line with an authentic SW home. then, for even more effect, you can paint the mouldings a contrasting color, and even the inside "paneled" areas yet another color. this would be a fun, easy, and inexpensive project that will yield BIG impact!
