I just painted over my wallpapered kitchen with a lightly textured terra cotta paint. It came out great! My home office is in the family room which is open to the kitchen. I want to paint it a different color, like aqua. That room has regular builder-textured walls so I plan to just use regular paint. Previously the wallpaper in the kitchen just came up to the other room's walls and stopped with no molding or anything. Now that it's going to be two different paints butting up against each other (on the same wall), do you think I should put trim of some kind as a divider, or just let the differing surfaces and color stand alone as the demarkation?
