Kitchen soffits
Newbee here,
Recently painted kitchen walls avacado golden that is, a little dark, so I did the bay frenchdoor cove a lighter tone looks great & brightend the avacado up some. Cabinets will be white. Would painting the soffits this lighter tone look bad? or do they need to be the same as the darker walls? Appreciate your thoughts...Thanks

Hi - welcome to the forums!
.....now what???
you painted your walls a green color, but you think they're too dark. so you painted the bay/cove area a lighter color and you like it - what color exactly did you use?
and now you're wanting to paint the soffits the lighter color. so - where will the green be?
i think it would be too choppy to do the soffits the lighter color. i'd go for flow & keep them green like the walls. with the white cabinets, and all the light from the french doors, it can't be too dark in there, and the green probably makes the cabinets stand out nicely. right?
