Color scheme question

ok. i am new here. i want to paint my exterior of house a beige/taupe color with white trim. would black shutters and front door look alright? Thanks!

I think that would look fantastic! Our townhouse complex is beige/taupe siding with white stucco and the trim is either dark brown (ours) or dark green - I think the dark brown looks better than the green, but I like your idea of black even better. Great instincts, IMO

yep! that's exactly how we painted our first house, and we loved it! very classic combination - good contrasts, very fresh & clean - very classy!

just be careful with the beige/taupe color - if it's too much on the taupe side, it can look lavendar!! keep it slightly more on the beige side!

also, with those neutral tones on the house, if you want, you can paint the front door an accent color, like something in the red family, for some real pop!
