what color for living room walls

I have a Mauve and Hunter Green sofa and love seat,a Mauve and hunter Green recliner,a beige leather rocker.I have Mauve and cream wall paper. I'm tearing off the wallpaper. I want to put beaded paneling and I need to know what color to paint it?

what's the trim (woodwork) in the room? painted or stained?

I'm new and apprensive about using color on my walls. I have blue speckled kitchen countertops and would like to paint my bright kitchen a color. Would a dark sage go with medium blue speckled countertops? What other colors would you suggest? I'm clueless. thank you!Read More

finding right paint color

We want to paint our main living floor in a variant of tan/brown. Our woodwork is natural wood, with no stain and I don't want it to look orangish when we paint. We have accents of brick red in our pillows, a quilt on the wall, and will do an accent wall of red in the kitchen. Any suggestions of tans/light browns that will not make the woodwork look orange? Also, our couch is dark brown leather and a red leather recliner. Classy and warm is the look we are going for.Read More
