What would look better in the kitchen?
We're trying to narrow our choices in the kitchen. The new cabinets will be wood. The floor will be porcelaine or ceramic. The countertop, granite. So would it better to have a darker floor? darker cabinet or darker countertop? Dark floor, medium cabinet, light countertop? All light? And then there's the backsplash-what should it match? I like the neutrals/warm browns. Leaning to a splashy glass tile bronzy backsplash.
The room isn't huge 12 X 12 with an eat in area attached which is 9 x 12.

you need to visit some kitchen cabinet showrooms!
light floors tend to show more dirt, so you might want them to be medium to dark colored.
but as for the counters & cabinets, it all depends on the feeling you want - light & airy? or warm & rich? contemporary or traditional? it's all up to you.
