Painting a room to match a blue comforter

I have a small bedroom to work with in a small house. This room is the biggest room we can use for our bedroom yet its still a bit smaller then normal. My husband and i have a beautiful brand new blue comforter for our queen-sized bed. The only problem is the walls are a horrid pale/ yellow (because of age) color. I want the bedroom to seem comfortable and quiet without killing ourselves with anymore blue then we have too. What color would best corispond with our comforter?

Are there other colors in the blue comforter? Comforters with multiple colors have a built-in palette from which to choose. What color blue? Blue and white are very crispy and quite stunning with an added accent color.

your choices are too broad. you need to narrow them down. i would find something else you need for the room & choose a multicolored pattern to steal a color scheme from - just like 12pole said. it can be a simple throw pillow or maybe draperies or a blanket for the foot of the bed or a picture to hang, or if there's a master bath, maybe a shower curtain, etc. but to just say "what goes with blue" is too broad. also, define a style & the color choices will start to narrow. for example, yellow & blue says Country to me (cheery & homey), blue & white (as in toile) says formal/traditional, whereas blue & brown are contemporary (and quite popular right now).
