different metal colors
When you walk into our front door you're standing in our SMALL family room. I have a big star above our TV that has black & a little bit of gold. Next to the tv i have a tall floor lamp that is brushed nickel. On the opposite wall(the wall right when you walk in the door that i sort of have as a little "entry") has a silver frame. Couch is black leather. Is it weird to have darkish metals(star) AND brushed nickel in one room? I just bought the brushed nickel lamp that is why i'm asking. They had a bronze lamp that I could trade it for. But i just didn't know if brushed nickel can be with bronze-ish types of metal.
Could i have a brushed nickel lamp post & a bronze or dark lamp post in the same room?

Hi jenH421,
Depends a lot of the space, light, style....
Can you post a picture of the space?
In order to set an image here follow these easy steps-->
1 - upload your picture to a free online photoalbum like Photobucket or Flickr , for example
2 - Look for the link of your picture (usually, photoalbums provide a "link for a forum" script) --> copy the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located),
3 - Press the 'Insert Image' icon above or type after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image
