Fireplace Blues-Help!
Hi,
My fireplace is white wood and very big-gas self start if that matters. I would like to add some character to it, but not sure how. It looks very clinical and bland.
Any thoughts on what I could do to liven this up? The room is a light cream type color with dark brown leather couches.
Regards,
Lenny

Hi lenny3332 and welcome to DIY
Without a look, I'd say that you can work the wood and convert it to a dark natural to match the couches. Some brick may add a cozy touch
However, if you wish to post a picture, I will be glad to provide additional advice
In order to set an image here follow these easy steps-->
1 - upload your picture to a free online photoalbum like Photobucket or Flickr , for example
2 - Look for the link of your picture (usually, photoalbums provide a "link for a forum" script) --> copy the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located),
3 - Press the 'Insert Image' icon above or type after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image
