Tile next to wood laminate - can it be done? What will it look like?
My wife and I are building a new home and want tile in the entry way and we were going to go with carpet next to the tile. Now, we are leaning towards a handscraped maple wood laminate but are not sure how the two would look next to each other. Has anyone seen tile next to wood laminate and what did you think of the appearance. Maybe some of you have done this and could comment, thanks.

This depends a lot of the style, light, etc
Can you post a picture so we can visualize the space?
In order to set an image here follow these easy steps-->
1 - upload your picture to a free online photoalbum like Photobucket or Flickr , for example
2 - Look for the link of your picture (usually, photoalbums provide a "link for a forum" script) --> copy the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located),
3 - In the DIY Forum--> Reply post or open a new post--> Press the 'Insert Image' icon above and paste the link--> or type after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image
