Installation of a 2 peice fiberglass shower kit
I am installing a Lasco fiberglass 2 peice shower kit and I need to know what the installation procedures are. I have already installed my greenboard, is it possible to install this kit on the outside of the greenboard, or do I need to take down my greenboard?

Faust,
I assume that you didn't have the shower when you did the bathrom drywall so this makes it harder. Since you have already installed your greenboard and if it was done with the rough opening dimensions required for your Lasco shower, then you only have basically 3 options;
Depending on how you planned to finish the exterior you can do;
1. Add another layer of greenboard to be placed over the flange and then tape everything again, sand and paint. This would provide a much nicer completed look.
2. If you are considering tiling, you could tile the areas that would cover the flange, although some deviation in the tile would be noticeable nearest the flange, "tipping out" where it rests on the flange. Doesn't look that great when done.
3. Consider a Polystyrene cap molding that would be water resistant, just paint and you're done. Is acceptable but Option 1 is the best.
I have attached a link to Lasco on a 2-PC shower unit.
