Denso Shield

Hello,

I was walking through home depot one day - through the bathroom department. I knew there was something called wonderboard to use in the bathroom in the shower area. Home depot also had something else called Desno Shield, it came in a 3x5 board and was like sheetrock but had one side coated with fiberglass. I spoke to a couple of contracters who told me that they use the stuff since it can be easily cut with a knife, put up quick and less messy than wonderboard. Has anyone heard of this product? Is it good to use?

Thanks,
Peter.

Denso Shield

Peter,

This product is excellent, lighter and easy to work with. It has been around a long time as well as the other products. Great for wall applications where as the cement board or fiber mesh can be used for both floor and wall. As usual, knowing the product capability is crucial to what the intended use will be.

I have attached links for you to review;

Hope this helps!
