tiling bathtub enclosure

How do I compensate for a tilted tub when tiling the wall above the tub? If I follow the manufacturer's instructions and make the first row of tile level, I will have an inch gap below tile at the front of the tub along the outside wall.

Tiling

After tiles have set, you can scribe and cut tiles accordingly to fill the gap.

lindcren,

Just a note, some tilers start at the bottom and work their way up, basically drawing a line 1 row up from the lowest point , (from the top of the tub lip up). You can cut your tiles now and continue laying tile up or do the alternative as twelvpole suggested and lay tile from the line you draw and tile everything up from there, completing your work by cutting tiles pcs for both corners and bottoms after the full pcs are installed.

Hope this helps!
