Bathroom Vanity

I/m going to be remodelling my bathroom and I'm going to be replacing my existing vanity. The existing vanity was custom built in the 60's, and measures 60" overall, and I would like to keep that dimension. However, I would like to have 18" of drawers on the left and 42" of base cabinet below the sink. I cannot find a pre-manufactured vanity base cabinet of 42". I can, however, get kitchen base cabinets in these sizes. Is it ok to use kitchen cabinets in a bathroom? I know there will be a height and width difference, but is it that a big deal?

Cool

You can use whatever you like as a vanity sink base.
I've even seen antique furniture pieces with a sink hole cut out of the top.
Your bathroom. Your choice.
Good luck!
