grout between tiles in shower

We had to remove grout between tiles in shower because it had become black with mold. After cleaning the space between tiles we applied pre-mixed tile grout (non-sanded white grout made by Custom) that they told us to use at the Home Depot. Then we noticed that the instructions said, For Dry Areas Only. Do we have to seal the grout or should we look for a different kind of grout?

Pre-mixed grout? It wasn't a powder that you had to add water to? It cam in a container in a mud form all ready for application?

Yes, pre-mixed grout came in a tub, with nothing to add.

If the container sez "for dry areas", I would return it and get the kind for wet areas. It'll prolly dissolve with extended water contact time. Get the stuff rated for wet areas, comes in a powder you mix with water.
