I'm a classic do-it-yourself wannabe. I am replacing bath/shower fixtures and installing a permanent shower head (was a handheld). I've used teflon tape on all threaded connections but still have a leak when I divert water to the shower head. It's leaking at the 90 degree elbow that the shower arm screws into. Is there anything else I can use on these joints to stop the leaking?

Cool

Yooper: If you wrapped the teflon tape on correctly (CLOCKWISE)2-3 wraps, then it should not be leaking. Hold showerhead arm in left hand, wrap clockwise (only way it works). Install tightly with wrench (protect arm from marring with washcloth or sponge). Good Luck!
