What is used to seal the seams/corners on duroc after install in tub-shower space?

silicone tile adhesive caulking.

I thought the answer was thinset mortar and special fiberglass tape (not the kind used for drywall).

Newcote is right. Only silicone caulk. It comes in clear or white. Sometimes it is called bathroom tile silicone caulk.

I think I interpreted the question differently than you did. I thought the question was asking about the seam between one Durock panel and another Durock panel. If I interpreted correctly, then I note that the label on each Durock panel, and the United States Gypsum Company web site at http://www.usg.com/diycb/diycb3.htm says to fill joints with tile-setting mortar. Does perhaps the answer further depend on whether you're using mortar or mastic to attach your tile?
