Unhappy

We have a large jacuzzi tub that has always been slow to drain. Now it takes forever to drain all the water out. My husband wants to put a heavy duty solution that he bought at Home Depot to unclogg drains. Is there a good "environmentally safe" solution that would do the trick? Thanks!

I have yet to find a liquid drain cleaner that works well enough to justify it's existence. Best bet is to run a small drain snake down the drain and clear all the gunk out of it. Getting it past the trap will be difficult. He may have to actually gain access to the bottom of the tub and disassemble the trap portion of the drain to clean it.

Have you cleaned out the drain lately of hair.
Pull the plug OR unscrew it by twisting it.
This maybe the problem...
