Unhappy ceramic floor removal concerns

I just removed the old ceramic floor and shower tile from my bathroom and was concerned about the possibility of asbestos. Alot of dust when i chipped out the old stuff. It was NOT vynal or asphalt tile it was ceramic. I was mainly concerned about the mortar they used to set it. should I be concerned? A friend who does alot of remodeling told me he felt it was fine, but I thought i would check here.

nag27,

It should be fine, just old mortar bed! Wear a mask to keep the dust out of your nose/lungs. Tends to be a mess taking old stuf out!

Good Luck!

the asbestoes was used in some of the older adhesives[cut back]it was black in appearance and used for v.a.t. tile[vinyl asbestoes tile]also containing asbestoes ,so not to worry about that here
