I learned how to grout from this site and did my own sink and the men that saw it really were impressed with the work (because I did everything doityourself told me to do) and it looked so d... good. I then tried to do my tub properly and I can't get the grout out even though it needs to be fixed. What do you do to remove OLD caulk to be able to put the new caulk in so it fills up the "holes". thank you for everything you have helped me with. This is an incredible site. Even though I hired someone else ....some times... at least I had an idea of what I needed and this is the most important aspect of this site. xxx :)

Hi, We recently had our bathroom remodeled. The job was a fiasco. We had marble countertop installed. (28" X 30"). The contractors were just not good. We got some money back but in general we are not happy about the finished project. At some point we would like to replace the countertop. How difficult would it be to remove the countertop from the vanity and sink, replace the countertop and put everything back together? We would like to keep the sink and vanity. The countertop will be the major expense but will it take alot of labor to do this? The vanity and coutertop are glued together so I don't know if you can remove the two without damaging the vanity. The countertop also has a back and side splash. Any info would be appreciative.
