bathtub
#1

I wanted to replace my bathtub with a new one, but my plumber suggested I repaint the old one, as it will be very difficult and expensive to remove the old one ( the tiles and walls need to be removed first, and then replaced as well). I went to Home Depot but they did not have a good painting kit, and the one they had would not allow me to use the tub for minimun of three days, and this is the only bathtub in the house. ... So my questions is this: do you know of any "bathtub paint" product on the market that would take less time and leave a glossy finish when complete? thanks

I think your best bet would be to have someone refinish the tub. If you try to "paint" it, the finish will not last and you'll be back to sqaure one. If you have a professional refinish the tub, they usually gaurantee the work for at least 5 years and you have a new looking tub.
