Recommendation sought for cabinets
I am planning on replacing a vanity cabinet in my condo's master bath with a longer, 42" vanity plus 18" hamper cabinet. I priced out Kraftmaid, available from Lowe's, in Maple at around $ 770. Is this a good mfg. to go with ? Where does this price fall with respect to other manufacturers ?

For comparison of quality differences among manufacturers and differences in prices, it is best to shop around. I personally recommend visiting some local kitchen dealers. You may find that they have better pricing because they have to compete against the big box stores. Compare differences in construction and warranties. Don't let price be your major determinant in your decision. The price you have been quoted sounds reasonable for what you want in factory made, mid-price range cabinetry.
