I was installing a new shower pan and I was wondering do I secure the shower pan to the walls first and then put the greenboard on above the shower pan? or do I put the greenboard first all the way from the ceiling to the floor?

no,put the shower pan in first then put the green board in and let it hang over the nailing fin on the pan.Can i ask what you are putting on the walls?If tile you may want to rethink the greenboard and put up durock it will make a better substrate than greenboard
