shwer doors

Hi I received a pair of beautiful shower glas doors but they are too wide can I have these cut to size and would it be worth it they sure are nice they are 60" wide & mine opening is 48" Thanks Jim

Sure. They can be resized at any glass shop or store. However, the cost may or may not be what you are willing or expect to pay. Worth asking.

And the responsibility for the exact measurements will be yours, so measure twice to be sure. Or if the local shop can stop by for a small service call fee, which is very likely, have them take the measurements.

Just like having them make a screen window to fit an existing screened window. Except you have none as a a model, so they cut to your measurements, make the screen to size.

If it does not fit, oops. You provided the size, you're fault.

Been there and done that too...

If the doors are fairly new and a stock size, the glass is tempered which can't be cut. If they are really old and have annealed glass, they can be cut but probably not worth the cost.
