Remodeling Project

We are gutting and redoing our main bathroom. I have chosen "venetian bronze" faucets combined with "bone" fixtures. We have a water softner, however, our city water is terrible and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with venetian bronze faucets. Do they scratch easier with certain cleaners? Is a dark color like that a bad choice in a bathroom where lime could build up more?

I'd also like to know the benefits of acrylic tub surround as opposed to fiberglass. We are also having grip handles installed in the tub surround right away and they are not sure I can get them in venetian bronze. What a headache, I hate remodeling! Any help or suggestions out there?

I do not have any experience with venetian bronze finish.

I would contact your local plumbing showcase supplier in your area to get the specifics regarding the product and its wear life to make sure that this product doesn't hold up over periodic use.
