Help! Damaged fiberglass show floor unit
#1

About a year ago we redid our bathroom and replaced our corner shower unit with a new unit; tiling the walls, new glass enclosure and replacing the fiberglass floor with a nice (and rather expensive) Kohler unit.
We also installed several corner shelves to hold shampoo bottles and such. Well, long story short, one of the shelves just came down, which would not be that big a problem but it cracked and dented the floor unit.
Can this be filled and repaired? or are we looking at replacing the whole unit? having the enclosure and floor tile redone, again?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

JBynum,
Search "bathtub reglazing" locally. Let them assess the damage. The good ones usually provide fiberglass repair as well.
Good Luck!

Call Kohler too and see if they have someone to repair it. If not ask them what it is made of and if it is manufactured by DuPont call them and see if they have anybody. If you use some one local make sure the understand you want a pretty much invisible repair. You don't want to be loking at some ugly repair for the duration. Some peoples idea of a good repair is
Exact color match is important. Get a guarantee on the repair to cover peeling if they have to paint it
