I have installed a shower enclosure to an existing bathroom. The walls of the enclosure have "a flange" that you screw to the wall. My question is: Is there a trim that will cover the flange and screws or do I have to add another sheet of drywall over it to hide this? If I have to add drywall then it will not look right against the existing wall. I was wondering if they make a trim for the shower enclosure. Thank You

Hi. I think our the tub surround abover our bathtub move too much when we lightly press it. Not sure if this a poor installation job by the previous owner or if I just need more caulk. Read on! We moved into a 58 year old house and the caulk in the tub between the tub and the walls (where were plastic ..not tile) was partially moldy so we took it out and redid it using DAP bathtub caulk. We let it dry (as we were not living in the house for 2 weeks) before and after we caulked. The first night we took a shower and lightly pressed our hand on the wall, the caulk cracked. I figured I did not put enough caulk on, so I did it again and dried it very well. However, the cracks continue. I think the problem is that the walls above the tub (called a tub surround from what I can guss, as they are not tile but some sort of plastic) has two joints that seriously depress when you even lightly touch them. Is this amount of give normal? I have never had a tub surround above a tub so I am not sure what to expect. How much give is normal? Any solutions? Thanks courtney
