What is the blind [kitchen cabinet] base pull?

I've looked and cannot find the answere here online.

I cannot understand what the "pull" means with blind bases. For example, my catalog says for a 42" blind base, a 45" to 47" pull distance is required.

Does that mean a 42" base cannot fit into a 42" space?

THANKS 4 your help.

1. Blind wall cabinets are useful when a standard wall corner cabinet can't be used.
2. The pull distance equals the amount of space from the adjacent wall that the blind cabinet is hung on.
3. The pull is variable allowing for extra versatility.
4. Blind cabinets waste space. Use only when necessary.

There is usually a 3 to 5 inch filler that needs to be put between the cabinets.

Specs may vary among manufacturers. Check the recommended pull on a 36" blind corner. If the 36" can not fill the 42" space, then a filler can be used or cabinet layout changed.

A filler is required between a blind corner and the cabinet it fronts to allow door and/or drawers to properly open.
