Kitchen cabinets

What can I use to fasten cabinets to cinder block, I have 1" FIRRING STRIPS

If your firring strips are securely fastened... by all means use them for your screws - though 1 inch is kinda minimal. I would probably use anchors in the cinder block for a couple of holes in each cabinet.... just to be safe.

I fasten 3/4" furring to CMU with construction adhesive and nails. Drill a 1/4" hole with a rotohammer and tap in three 8D VC sinkers. The three nails draw it up snug and the CA seals the deal.
If you wish the cabinet screws to penetrate both furring and block, use Tapcon screws with their customary 5/32" rotohammer bit for piloting.
