wall mount faucet thru vanity mirror: please help

I'm planning to install a wall mount faucet through my vanity mirror. The rough plumbing has been rearranged and the new mirror with pre-drilled holes has been installed. I'm assuming there should be some kind of gasket or washer between the faucet spout and levers to help prevent breaking the mirror. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

loliver, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
A gasket of some sort should be used, at least on the spout. The handles probably have escuteons that cover the stem and would be caulked. You may have to make a gasket if none comes with the faucet you are using. Good luck.
