dishwasher hot water supply line

My old dishwasher leaked in two places: underneath the door, and underneath the dishwasher where the copper supply line connects to the dishwasher. The door seal was old so it got hardened. The water supply line was copper or galvanized which is not as flexible as the plastic ones. I must have broken it when I tried to move the dishwasher in the past.

I am now ready to buy a new one. I know I should not have the issue with the door, but do dishwasher vendors sell plastic water supply lines? This is so if I need to move dishwasher into place, I will not accidentally bend or break the galvanized pipe on the connection.

They sell a braided flexable connection complete with the 3/8" brass fitting.

Agree. They are braided with stainless steel, and afford abrasion resistance, and flexibility. You can get them readily at any big box.
