installing kitchen cabinets on unlevel floor

i am installing kitchen cabinets and the floor is out of level 3/4" in 15' should i take the high point transfer that to the wall snapping a chalk line 36" from the high point in the floor then measure up 18" from that to find the bottom of the wall cabinets or is this wrong.

The way you suggest is certainly the easiest. Just shim up the base cabinets as you go to keep them level front to back and side to side. Also, make sure you have something to cover the bottom 3/4" gap. (tile floor or toe kick). The other option is to plane down the base of the other cabinets, but that is way too much work for me.
