Question Pot Filler - proper height

I will be installing a 48" range in my new kitchen. Wondering at what height should we mount the pot filler. Also, how far to the side should it be placed?
Thanks!

Most pot fillers are set at the "needed location". If it is a gas range, make sure you will not have to reach over lit burners to use it. The height should be located by the distance your tallest pot sits when on the burner. I would judge the distance to the side by being able to use it while another pot was emitting steam from the rear right or left burner (depends on which hand you prefer to use). Basically, it is a personal preference. You also do not want to be leaning over a lit front burner while using it. Good luck.

Thanks. My range is gas and an 8 burner. Good point about which hand you use. I'm a lefty so I'll definitely keep that in mind. Determining which burners are the high BTU output would help too.
Thanks again.
