Question Fiberglass Tub/Shower

I have a 27year old fiberglass tub/shower unit that has a "soft spot" in the middle of the tub near the drain....is there any way to repair this and make it look nice in the end?

any advice is welcome.

Thanks

K-man,

So the question is, are you wanting to do this the cheap way and get by or do it the right way?

To make it a look good repair, I highly recommend a good refinishing company that specializes in fiberglass.

Trying to do this yourself with a repair kit would not come out near as nice and if you have this done professionally, there would be would be a warrantee.

Good Luck!

What is your concern, exactly? That it could crack?

Does it actually look fine, and it is just soft when you step in that area of the tub?

If so, maybe you could cram some mortar mix under there.
