Question about Kitchen Pantry Cabinets
My husband and I are remodeling an older beach house built in the '70s, and he is building all the kitchen cabinets himself. There is a galley style kitchen with no pantry, so Doug is adding some tall pantry-type cabinets for me.
I'd really like some sturdy wooden pantry drawers, not those wire things. I'd like them to be adjustable, too, but Doug has never used the vertical shelf brackets & slide kits that they sell in magazines like Rockler before (example: Accuride & Blum kits). He's only made fixed drawers before. Has anyone used these bracket/slide kits? Are they sturdy & well-made? Any advice?
Thanks!

You'll find weight ratings on the Accuride slides, and they are quite substantial. Some are even total clearance slides, meaning the drawer will pull completely to the edge of the opening, leaving no place for anything to hide.
