OK. My wife and I are planning on having our kitchen remodeled this summer and we have figured out most of what we want as far as materials, etc.. Currently, we are still debating on two things - having the cabinets built vs. buying cabinets & deciding between two different layout ideas we came up with. As for the cabinets...our has was built in 1925 so obviously it is not square etc., so I wonder if the prebuilt cabinets would fit it correctly. And as for the layout..the kitchen isn't very big only 15'x11'. Unfortunately, we can not enlarge it so we have to work with this.. Also, one of the walls isn't useable due to door & window placement. We are currently debating on where to put the fridge. In one place the fridge will be on the end of the wall facing a door so when you open it, the door would be in the way of the opening. In the other place it would again be on the end of the wall next to a door so when you walked into the room it would be on your right and kind of stick out far. Does anyone have advise on either of these issues? If anyone would like to help, I would be glad to e-mail you drawings of our ideas for layouts. Thanks, Ross

I moved into my condo about 6 months ago. The tub never seemed quite right. The floor of it doesn't seem solid. I am sure it was the cheapest thing they could put in when they built the place. The point is that I noticed a crack. Its a small crack but I am worried that it could be an indicator of a bigger problem. How can I tell what kind of material my tub is made out of? How can I tell if it is leaking or causing any other problem? How do I know if it is fixable?
