Does anyone know where you can order a "Hooty Ring"

I want to have my old porcelain sink refinished. My problem is that the chrome ring around the sink needs to be replaced. I've been told it's called a Hooty Ring.

Does anyone know of an online business where I could order one? All local plumbing supply companies are telling me they no longer carry them.

These are pretty much a thing of the past (as you have found). I have included the websites and toll-free phone numbers of some of the top manufacturers. Perhaps you can find one that can help you. Good luck.

If they are in good shape, they can also be rechromed. You might be able to contact a business that does electroplating and have it refinished.

Hootie ring

I believe it's spelled hootie ring. We actually installed a new sink with a hootie ring in a Corian countertop we fabricated a couple years ago. It was cast iron and I believe it was made by Elkay, but I'm not sure. Do a search on the internet and you should find a source. Be really careful removing the sink because they are very heavy and could fall unexpectedly. Good luck.
