Exclamation Painting stripes...NEED HELP!

I am painting stripes in my bathroom cream & brown vertically. Can anyonte provide me any tips. For example should a corner have the same color on both sides or should a corner be the joining point of the two colors? Also how do you figure out how many stripes go on each wall section since the room is not pefectly square it will vary. Lastly over and around the door is it okay to have a partial stipe on the side of a doorway and continue the whole stripe above the door? Any other tips would be great too!

Thanks for your help.

If you want near perfection in your striping, start in the middle of the room. Find your centerline and start on either side with the width of your widest stripe, then keep it moving to the corners. If you wind up with a partial stripe, no one will notice. At least the wall will be symmetrical.
The lines should be kept at the same width, no matter what obstacle they run into, so half a strips on either side of the door is fine.
Good luck with the project.
