Tiling, or plumbing bath/sink first?

Hi all,

I am having a new bath, sink and toilet delivered in a few days and I am planning on tiling the walls and floor too.

Should the new toilet, bath and sink be plumbed in first and then the tiles be fixed to the wall around them, or should the tiling be completed first?

Thanks.

I think I understand your question here but if not, let me know.

The new bathtub has to be installed before any tile. The plumbing for the vanity needs to be done before any tile. The plumbing for the toilet needs to be done before any tile.

You could tile first and install the vanity on top of the tile or you could install the vanity and tile up to it - thats your choice. Tile the floor before you install the toilet. You could install tile befind the vanity on the walls, or tile up to it, thats your choice. You can tile up to the toilet flange if its not raised enough to tile under. You may need a flange extender or thicker wax ring to install the toilet.
