Tile Over Cultured Marble

I am finishing my master bath remodel and the aging cultured marble counter top is yellowish and displeasing.

Is there any problem with tiling over the top of the cultured marble?
What kind of preparation needs to be done to the cultured marble counter top?

If cultured marble top is a standard size, you should be able to pick up a new one at a reasonable price at your local home center.

Picked up a used unit and the brilliant paint crew oversprayed my black fridge with tiny white specs. Is there a good (and safe to the finish) cleaner that would make my life easier than rubbing it to death?

I have to install a bathroom exhaust fan since there is none and I keep getting mold because of the build up. The problem I am having is the bathroom is in the middleof the house and at the back of the house. I do not have and eve so I have no place to stick the vent. I am wondering how to go about this. I was told that I have to vent this and not to just vent it into the attic. There is about 15ft from the bathroom to the left side of the house where I could put the vent.
