Red stains on bathroom floor tiles - please advise

My bathroom floor has cream to light brownish ceramic tiles. My washing machine leaked and there was some water spillage that caused light pinkish stains on some of the tiles. The stains are like very light red wine stains. How can I get rid of these?

Normally ceramic is pretty easy to clean. What have you tried so far? Any more insight as to what specifically was in the water that left the stain?

BarKeeper's Friend and Zud contain oxalic acid, which is a rust remover. There are also many products specifically labeled as rust removers. These are typically found in the plumbing aisle.

Yes, if its rust you should be able to find a stain remover fairly easily, just remember there will still be a fair amount of elbow grease required.
