Smile resurfacing kitchen countertops

I watched Design On a Dime a few nights ago. They resurfaced some formica kitchen countertops with this cement stuff. It turned out really good. it looked like real cement countertops. Does anyone have any idea how to do this and what I need to buy to do my countertops. This new idea is suppose to be a heck of alot cheaper than buying new countertops. I think it cost them a total of $200.00 to complete the ones on the show. Thanks!

The problem with low-cost facelifts is that they are usually not very durable.
