Angry Caulking that won't stick!

After the THIRD time of silicone caulking the corners in my tub area, I am again forced to remove the caulk because it's coming off. For some reason it isn't sticking.

Is there a secret to using this stuff on tileboard? I've been using tub and tile silicone and have made sure the corners are dry. Please help!

Are you sure it is good and dry before applying? clean too?
Are you giving the caulk sufficent time to dry before using the shower/tub?

What brand caulk are you using?

I am using Tub & Tile Caulk from Home Hardware - 100% Acrylic Latex, Mildew Resistant, Waterproof.

Surfaces are clean, says to allow 24 hours before painting (if you want to).

You probably need to switch to a silicone caulk [comes in white or clear] It will adhere a lot better than latex caulk will. It is harder to apply and needs a solvent to clean up with.

Ok - that may have been the wrong tube I grabbed. As I'm blading the stuff off, it's definitely silicone.
