granite sink

Hi All
I'm planning to instal a granite kitchen sink
What are your opinion on this kind of sink

It is a manmade stone product which is much better than natural stone, but I wonder about its' use as a sink. Sinks take a beating, litterally, and it may only take one heavy item dropped in the sink to ruin it.

granite composition sink from lowes

love mine! After much vascillation over stainless we decided to go with this. With a dark granite counter, it flows well in tone. Love love love it...
