Slippery shower tile -- please advise
We have a shower with tile floor that is very slippery. How do I fix this so that it can be used by my elderly parents? I tried using the self-stick rough strips that I purchased at the hardware store, but they came up the first time the shower was used.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as my parents will be here for Thanksgiving.
Thank you!

The wrong kind of tile was used on the floor, but that is not something that is easily fixed. For those self stick amti slip things to work, you need to thoroughly clean the tile, and make sure it is completely dry before applying them. But they should stick then. We have some on our steel tub that are 30+ yrs old. If they still don't stick, there are mats you can get that work well. Check a local bath shop.
